What is Bragtown?
Bragtown is a free, just-for-fun game site with a Rust-style wheel, slots, blackjack, poker and fishing. Every game uses fake scrap. You play for bragging rights and a spot on the monthly leaderboard.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play everything as a guest and your scrap is saved to this browser. Sign in with Steam to keep your scrap across devices and appear on the leaderboard.
How old do I have to be?
You must be 18 or older to use Bragtown. By playing, you confirm you meet this requirement.
Scrap
What is scrap?
Scrap is Bragtown's free virtual currency. It has no real-world value and cannot be bought, sold, traded, or cashed out for money, skins or items.
How do I get more scrap?
Everyone starts each wipe with 1,000 scrap. Claim a supply drop of 250 scrap every 30 minutes, or try the free games like fishing.
Can I withdraw or buy scrap?
No. There are no deposits, withdrawals, or purchases of scrap. Anyone offering to buy or sell Bragtown scrap is not us, so please report it.
What is a wipe?
Balances, stats and the leaderboard reset on the first Thursday of each month at 12:00 AM Eastern, just like a Rust server wipe.
Games
Where are the rules for each game?
Every game has a How to play button next to its title with the full rules and payouts.
Are the games fair?
Every result is decided on our server with a secure random number generator before the round plays out, the same way for every player.
The hub
What is play.bragtown.com?
It's a walkable hub where you can hang out with other players, chat, and walk up to the tables. It uses the same account, scrap and leaderboard as bragtown.com.
Why can't I chat?
Chat is for players signed in with Steam. Guests can still walk around and play.
Account and privacy
How do I delete my data?
Click your profile picture in the top right, then Delete my data. It erases your account and game records right away. You can also email support@bragtown.com. See the Privacy Policy for all your rights.
How do I change my cookie settings?
Open the Cookie Policy from the footer and press Cookie settings. Bragtown only uses necessary cookies plus optional cookieless analytics.
Safety
Will Bragtown ever ask for my Steam password?
Never. Steam sign-in always happens on Valve's own site, steamcommunity.com. If a page asks for your Steam password anywhere else, close it. We also never ask for trade offers, items, or payment.
How do I know I'm on the real site?
The real site is bragtown.com and play.bragtown.com, always over HTTPS with the padlock in your browser bar. We have no other domains.
Is Bragtown connected to Rust or Facepunch?
No. Bragtown is a fan-made site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Rust, Facepunch Studios, Steam, or Valve.
